- Limited Use Disclosure: Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Financial Data: Transaction data you enter or import is encrypted in transit and stored securely. It is used solely for the purpose of providing you with financial insights and reports.
8. Use of Messaging Platforms (WhatsApp Business API)
We facilitate messaging between businesses and their customers using the WhatsApp Business Platform.
- Data Processed: We process data such as phone numbers, message content, and delivery metadata strictly to deliver transactional messages, account notifications, and customer support on behalf of our clients.
- Third-Party Processing: To enable this service, we may securely share necessary data with Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp), which acts as our data processor. Meta processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We only access and process data as instructed by our clients.
- User Consent & Opt-Out: Messages are sent only to users who have explicitly opted in. You can revoke your consent at any time and opt out of future communications by replying "STOP" directly in the chat or contacting us.
We strictly adhere to a policy of data minimization. We do not sell, share, or use this data to build profiles or target advertising. All data is handled securely and retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the communication purpose.
9. Specific Provisions for Oddsrt Events Platform
When you register for an event through the Oddsrt Events Platform (events.oddsrt.com and related sub-domains), the following data practices apply in addition to our general policy:
- Data Collected: We collect your name, mobile number, email address, and any answers to custom registration questions set by the event organiser. This information is used to issue digital passes, facilitate event check-in, and send relevant notifications.
- Communication Consent & Notification Channels: By submitting a registration form, you consent to receiving event-related communications via WhatsApp, SMS, Email, and Web Push Notifications. This consent is required for registration and is stored against your account. You may withdraw or manage preferences at any time from your profile settings on the platform.
- Push Notification Tokens (FCM): If you grant browser notification permission, a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token is generated for your device and stored against your account. This token is used solely to deliver web push notifications. Duplicate tokens from the same device are deduplicated automatically. Tokens are removed if permission is revoked.
- Data Shared with Event Organisers: Your registration data (name, mobile, email, form responses) is accessible to the event organiser for the purpose of managing their event. Oddsrt does not control how organisers use this data beyond the platform.
- Data Retention & Erasure: Registration data and digital passes are retained for the duration of the event and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping. In compliance with the India DPDP Act, you can request full erasure of your personal data and account records by contacting us at [email protected].
- Consent Audit Trail (DPDP 2025): A verifiable digital audit log containing your consent status, checkbox selections, and server timestamps is generated and stored securely when you register to serve as proof of affirmative consent.
- Third-Party Notification Services: Push notifications are delivered via Google Firebase (FCM). WhatsApp notifications are delivered via the WhatsApp Business API through our authorised service provider. SMS notifications are delivered via authorised bulk SMS gateways. These providers process data solely to deliver the message.
